one of my unforgettable experience

Team-Teaching

Personally, one thing I can describe about my feelings on my first actual team teaching is mentally and physically tortured. Uncounted heart beat, cold perspiration, rehearsing of the things to be said, walking back and forth, shaking over my body and a nerve breaking moment while waiting for the signal to enter in the classroom and it is maybe because it is said that our assigned room is a section one class and a big doubt if I mastered my topic, my grammars, my facial expressions, gestures, and worried if everything will turn into mess and it is observable that my buddies have the same feeling the way I had.

I am just very thankful to our Cooperating Teacher that she gave us five minutes to relax, to settle everything, and to asked help to our God to give us the courage and presence of mind. I supposed she understood what we are going through. Our most awaited moment was come to pass we entered the room for she had given us the signal. Personally, upon entering the room I looked at the students, roamed my eyes to the posters posted in the wall and I saw the word SMILE which encourage me to smile even when I feel like running.

Everything runs smoothly at the start though all eyes are looking at us, observing of what we will do, grammars to correct, and especially our CT that is observing us. They loved the puzzle activities and they enjoyed it. We facilitated it together with my two buddies. But at the middle of the class the technology we used which is power point presentation can’t be seen by the learners because we don’t have projector and in that students didn’t participate well in the discussion and I observed that what have we written in our lesson plan did not meet as I expected. At the end of the class our cooperating teacher discussed of what is our strengths and weaknesses I our teaching.

In conclusion, our team teaching was a good start in preparing us to become a better and effective teacher someday. Those vicarious experiences had helped us to understand entirely our chosen profession and I realized that to become a teacher is not an easy task as what I have known. I must have the characteristics of an effective teacher, intelligent, skillful, and many other more.

Self-reliance

What makes a man to be a superstar? What makes a man to be rich? What makes a common man to be someone prominent? What makes their star so bright while others fade? What’s with them? Do they have hidden amulets? Or they have a hidden potential or ability and skills? Superstars, rich people, and those who have done excellent in thier works have the same common denominator and it is SELF-CONFIDENCE. It is a powerful tool that became a great asset to whoever use it wisely. This toll cannot be stolen nor steal by anybody.

Self-reliance is simply having self-confidence in one's self. And self-confidence can change something. A change that your life will be a worth living than the life you have before. It can make things possible because it is working with all your heart and not merely working for merits, money, or power but the satisfaction from within.

Cowards are not one of the most pitiful person in this world. For they dont possess one of th most powerful tool that can affect the quality of their works and actions, Self-confidence. Bu there is always time for change and it is only when one opt for change and start believing in oneself, then success becomes visible. It was said that humans are lucky for in the innate self their they have self-confidence. It is just a matter of believing and valuing human nature of using all endowed faculties in facing challenges and actualizing human potentials.

Colorful flag lets all around
Pyramid stalls stand upright
Stage has instruments to be sounded for the night
By the person behind that are best in town.

Protech is ready as an amusement park
And a place to showcase rich products
Prepared for everyone to enjoy
Cheap, ornate products are there for sale.

Giant Ferris wheel is seen by far
Large tentacles of octopus invite you to come
To join the rides with amazing laugh
With the neighboring province all around.

Different people comes out to their shells
To witness the high lighted event
Street dancing is one of them
Especially the beautiful ladies of “Mutya ng South Cotabato”
That over crowded the gym.

Though gregarious person were all dog-tired
They do not bother, for indeed,
This is one of the events that should not pass
Because T’nalak days is one of a kind.

What If..

What if I was not born in this world?
Where will be I am now?

In heaven as one of the angels or a falling angel?

What if there is no judgment?

Will I distinguish the good from bad?

What if I do not have any senses?
Will I conquer the world?

What if I can't see?
Can I appreciate light?

What if I can't hear?
Can I join with the people dancing?

What if I can't smell?
Can I differentiate the good and foul odor?

What if I dont have feet?

Can I roam the world?

What if this is my situation right now?

Will my family be proud of me?

Or

they are going to leave me?

What if they will not?

Then I will leave this Earth.

Indeed life is beautiful!

La Vita E Bela

One of the best movie I saw was LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. In this movie the different views in life are shown, happiness, cruelty, and sacrificial moment in once life. Let me tell you what is the gist of this movie. Well, it started with a love story where Guido fell inlove with Dora who had charm and beauty. It was a funny love story. they both struck and fell in love at the first time they met. Along the love story, they eloped and had a son named Joshua, an intelligent and smart boy. On his sixth birthday everything had change from normal life to a complicated one. It was time of Hitler, a person who had an iron hand where he became the dictator of the Germany. In that time, Jews were all captived and one of them is the family of Guido and the sad part was they put into an abondoned prison like place. Their they lived with misery and very unfortunate. The father has the inituitive to keep Joshua think that they are just playing and every time they will get points. And time comes that the father should sacrifice for his family. Guido died to protect his family and to be courageous at the sight of his family.

REFLECTION:

What is the use of Happiness when Sadness comes not into existence, there is no sweetness in victory if there is no defeat. These what make life beautiful and meaningful and indeed life is beautiful. My mind was opened about what life is really made of, because of this, I realized that life is temporary, any point of time God can take my life and even the life of my love ones, that my plans in life are very different from what is His plan. And at this point of time, I'll treasure evrything that God has given to me, my family, my friends, my classmates, my teachers, and evryone that surrounds me. Life is not perfect but enough to do our best.

Todays Youth

I Defined Youth


Some live with joy and happiness
Completely dolled up to roll the world
Get what they wants and needs
with blings to boast ahead

Yet no one see
Complete they may seem but emptiness is within.

Some are ebullient
Smiles behind their mourns
Even between the devil and the deep blue see
still did not cause them to turn a hair.

Others are introvert
prefer to have silence in the set
that cause them to have blue in the face
and make their own living world.

And their is one truth that is common to them all
Is to be harm if not in home
to swallowed a stork for gyne, a lad who loses it's own dreams.

They demand not to have a fair weathered friend
Instead Jesus who will love and care.
NOT a person who have an iron hand to rule
Instead a God with a reaching hand.
